"First real car ever owned. Leased it three years ago, just over 30,000 miles now. Price was right, performance is great..fast when you push it, handling is so-so, sound system is great, decent amount of room interior but wish it came in black. Wish the seats in back folded down. Car looks sick with better rims, low profile tires and tints. However, this is your daily driver for a dad. I like this car overall but will get something bigger and/or sportier next time."

"Car was purchased brand new (4 cyl. EX).In les that 2 weeks I was sorry about my spanded money: noisy and not comfortable ride an hiway, very average MPG (18-19 city), short seat, electrical problems...
My wife got 2007 Camry,70K - no problems,21-23 city MPG, more comfort, less noise...
Looks like Accord lost agan.

"The 2007 outside styling was boring but I settled because of the cars reliability and excellent lease deal at the time. The leather seats feel like pleather and the I never found the driver's seat to be comfortable. Very hard and short seat. I liked that the volume control to the radio was on the steering wheel but not the ability to scan radio stations, only the ability to change between one's saved stations. The car handles very well in the snow but only ok in the rain. Great power and handling, however."

"Vehicle now has 36K miles. Solid; no squeaks or rattles. No mechanical problems but did have to replace rear disc brake pads at 31K miles (wear issue). Did expect longer wear though; front pads still at 7mm. (70%) Excellent fuel economy: 34 mpg on the fwy. (I do drive fast [75 mph] but use the cruise control and keep tires inflated to 38 psi.) 4 cylinder engine has adequate power. It should be noted that I do my own maintenance so my maintenance costs are minimal; I follow the owner's manual guidlelines but replace the transmission fluid every 15K miles. I did notice that Honda OEM parts are relatively expensive. I change the oil at 5K miles rather than follow the Maintenance Minder. Expect to get 300K miles from this car; going to try anyway! Stereo could be improved; I did upgrade speakers and add an amplifier. Interior is a lint magnet."

"Owned the car for about a month now, and it's a dream to drive. I've had Hondas since the early 90's, but this is clearly the best I've even owned/driven. The exterior styling won't elicit "oohs" and "ahhs", but so what. You buy a Honda because you want a car that is reliable, engineered very well and is fun to drive. And you won't get killed on resale, which is HUGE. The V6 kicks butt...loads of power. The tranny always feels like it's in the right gear. Need to pass a car on the freeway? Just nudge the gas a bit and "whoosh", you're doing 80mph. Love the interior. I wish Honda would offer a seat memory option. I'm about a foot taller than my wife, so seat adjustments will be frequent. A dimming rear-view mirrow would be nice too, but I can add that on through the accesories catalog. Also, it's a shame they didn't include an iPod hook-up. Other than that, everything (so far) is just right with this car. BTW...I drive about 75% highway, 25% city. I've averaged about 25 miles per gallon so far."

"While I enjoy the mileag and driveability of the vehicle, I mindful of yesteryears' cars. It's a nice vehicle with good performance, but you get the feeling that it could not take much of a hit, that the other vehicles on the road would get the better in an accident. The interior, while nicely designed, does not lend itself to easy clean-ups. Get some children in there, and you'll give up on keeping it clean."

"I purchased a new 2007 Accord V-6 (Automatic Transmission) EX-L with all of the options except the Navigation system in September of 2007.
This car is very fast. It handles very well for a front-wheel drive sedan.
The interior is ergonomically designed in an efficient manner. The exterior of the car is rather bland. I didn't buy the car for how it looks on the outside. I wanted a safe, fast car with outstanding reliability and excellent resale value.
It drives smoothly at 85 mph or 35 mph. Some expert reviews of this particular car have criticized the brakes. The brakes seem to work very well.
The only feature that's missing is the ability to play MP3's and connect an IPod to the car.
This car has ESC (Electronic Stability Control or VSC - Vehicle Stability Assist- as Honda calls it), side-impact and side-curtain airbags as standard features. The 0-60 time for this model (V-6) is 6.5 seconds. It eagerly gets off of the line and delivers a powerful burst of speed in the 25-45 mph range.
I would recommend an Accord to my closest friends. Honda released a new Accord for the 2008 model year. I took it for a test drive. It was very nice.
I purchased the 2007 version simply because I paid $5,000 less by selecting the 2007 model with the exact same options. The 2008 Accord has a slightly thicker steering wheel, a better looking interior, and a more appealing exterior.
This is the first non-American car that I've purchased. I am quite pleased with the results.

"I purchased my '07 Accord SE 5-SP/4cyl in Aug. of '07 after getting some maintenance done to my '05 Mazda 3 (base model/5sp). I walked out with keys to a VERY amazing car. I had heard that Honda made excellent cars, and truthfully, all the folks making these reviews weren't kidding! It's quick, ready to thrown down on the interstate or zipping through tight traffic and is equally at home holding highway speeds transporting you in complete comfort commonly found in cars that are far more expensive.

The tough part... This car LOVES to be driven! With great a suspension underpinning it's sporty body, it's ready to carve up winding roads, and with a manual transmission that has a nice smooth snick to every shift, well, you just can't go wrong!

And, the icing on the cake... LED taillights (who says you need a Caddy to get those too?!)

And... if this wasn't enough, GREAT build quality! it doesn't get much sweeter... (Perhaps a factory installed turbo on the 4-cyl model some day?...) :D

Well I am now back with Honda and believe me I will ensure I will never buy another make of car ever again. Call me bias if you like but I rate my Honda Accord 2007 higher then the other luxury German or whatever makes when it comes to driving pleasure and value for money.
And by the way..............Life is too short to drive an ugly car!!!

"I bought a 4 cylinder 2007 Honda Accord SE 5 speed at the end of the model year. I got a great deal financially and even better car. The 5 speed gives good acceleration and the throw is much shorter than I anticipated. It has been awhile since I had a manual transmission and this one is the best I have had. Shifting and managing traffic is no trouble even on the packed Houston highways. It gives the sensation of being more sporty in acceleration compared to an automatic whether there is a substantive difference or not. The handling is great and the interior layout is familiar, having owned an Accord as my last car, and it is easy to find every button and control. I am very pleased."
