"I purchased a new 2009 dodge ram. Loved the truck initially for its looks, apparent performance and comfort. Primarily for recreational use. The truck has proven to be a huge dissapointment. After only 29000km, our problems started with the driveshaft falling off, yes, falling off while driving. Since then, 3 differentials have been replaced...still whining and the dealer and Chrysler are stumped over the cause. In addition to tie rods being replaced, faulty fuel sending unit and gas cap sensor, in the last month it has been in the shop for about 3 weeks and still not completely repaired. I have not, and would not recommend this truck. We paid new price for a reliable truck and did not get our money's worth. Now need extened warranty so I don't get soaked until I can get rid of it."

"I have been a die hard Ford fan for years, but this new Ram has me converted. What is not to like? This thing has everything but the kitchen sink and pulls like a steer with a rope around it's neck! Classy styling inside and out and a ride quality on par with some older Caddy's I have driven. Get pass the gadgets and get to the nuts and bolts. 390 hp and the worse I have done in the city is just shy of 14mpg. Get it on the highway and cruise, 21 plus mpg. Need to get around or away from someone or thing? This truck does it with knock your socks off performance. Dodge took a truck that was losing the battle and created the proverbial Phoenix rising. It is the best 1/2 ton truck ever built and the best looking in years."

"I wasnt really in the market for a new truck, but the incentives on the new Dodges were amazing! I have owned this truck for just over 30 days now and it exceeded my expectations by a long shot. The interior design and finish is heads and shoulders above my 2008 Ram. I looked at Ford and Chevy too and couldn't find a truck with as many options for anything under $35K. The Hemi's power is addictive, (70HP better than Ford's 5.4L). I would recommend this truck to family and friends, Dodge has hit this one out of the park!"

"I considered only the "Big 3" (I wanted profits to stay in this country). I liked the innovation, value and features of the Dodge. For 2009 the warranty is unmatched... Lifetime driv etrain. Wow! Since I drove the last truck for 183K about half of my driving term would not be covered by any other manufacturer since they all stop at 100K. I plan to own this a looooong time!"

"I had an "04 Dodge Ram with a Hemi engine and this new one makes it look like Prius. Hit the gas in this truck and the pickup will floor you in the seat. I looked at several different trucks but none of them had the combination of performance and styling inside and out like the Ram did. The new instrument panel is awesome. It may seem like a small thing but being able to see the radio station on the instrument panel comes in handy. Plus the truck just looks mean and nasty....and thats a good thing"

"I was looking for a new truck recently and i went to the dodge dealer and test drove the laraime model. Excellent truck, the ride was amazing, quality was ok. For example,the one i drove cost $48G and it had fake chrome wheels, they were plastic! It just shows its a cheap truck! I didnt buy this one, i bought a Ford F150 Platinum, FAR better"

"I own the o9 ram crew txr4 model wth Hemi. It is the best truck or car I have ever drove. The comfort of the rear coil springs are great and when I was going 80-95 mph on interstate{ps dont speed}the secure handling from a truck was reashuring.{no rear hop}.Ive looked at a new tundra the dodges interior is way nicer and the seats fit me great [im 6'2''].IM getting 17 mpg with the hemi thats good the engine is got gteat feel to it at 50 if you step on it it goes. I also have the Ram box storage I am really impressed with the extra storage golf clubs are no problem. Chrsyler is having problems but this is not one off them I dont think you could buy a better truck. They will get back up and be even stronger America loves an underdog."

"First off this truck caught me off guard. The new look very appealing. Dodge sent me a voucher to ad $2000 to my trade if I wished to give my name and particulars. So, I did and the dealership salesperson called me up and aasked if I'd be interested in coming in and taking a test drive of the new 2009 Dodge Ram. I thought well why not take advantage of the offer and just see if it drove as good as it looked. Well, long story short. I was so impressed with the ride and the interior styling. I honestly couldn't wait to get back to the dealership and write the deal. And, then again, I kept it out for a bit longer and put it through some test. Highway drive was unbelievably smooth and quiet. Dirt road was smooth over washboard bumps. Effortless transition from 2WD to 4WD. And when you want some power then step on the throttle and hang on. I love this truck and I haven't even received it yet. I can't wait."

"I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 "Big Horn", it has 20 inch wheels and I also added a 2.5 inch lift in the front and a 2 inch lift in the rear, still ride very smooth and even looks tougher. I have the Hemi and it get 17.5 average with 391 hp, you can't beat that. Very Pleased."

"I just simply love my Dodge Ram 1500! The body styling sets it apart from all others. I have a Laramie 4 X 4, it is loaded. The heated steering wheel is awesome on winter mornings when it in the 20's, the steering wheel is toasty warm by the end of the block. I had to laugh at the chevy comerical, yeah I am up for a manicure! The leather seats are very comfortable. The interior is as nice as any luxury car that I have been in and I have been in many different vehicles. I test drove the new Ford F-150 and then went and drove the Dodge. The Dodge blew it away! The ride of the Dodge is much smoother then the Ford. The Dodge seems to be much faster then the Ford as well. I have read other reviews and comparisions of all the new trucks and it seems the Dodge rated somehwere in the middle. For me it rates as number one!! In my opinion it is the best looking truck on the market. I personally don't need the most towing capacity, I wanted a good looking truck the could seat five comfortably. I do a little towing and i do need a truck bed for home projects and for work a little bit. I got a whole lot more than I will ever need with my new Dodge. I have had it now for two weeks and I am excited to drive it every day. My brother has a Chevy and it is nice but my Dodge blows it away in style and comfort."

"I've owned a 96, 01, 04, 06 and now a Brand New 2009 Dodge Ram. I have loved every one and have been a loyal Dodge Ram fan since I drove my first one. Now Dodge has out done themselves with the 09 Ram, it is by far the best looking, best riding truck yet. It has more than enough space inside with great features. The exterior looks great with a very intimidating front end, everyone is sure to move out of the way. The new suspension system rides better than most cadillacs and thats not expected in a 4x4 truck, but this one does. There is more than enough power out the Hemi stock with plenty of room for it to grow. I would highly recommend this truck to everyone!!"

Black Beauty
"This is my fifth dodge truck. I just traded in my 2003 with 100,000 on it and it was a very good truck but this new Black 2009 Sport Crew takes trucks to another level. It has all the stuff, gets better mileage and more power and is exceptionally quiet on the road. Drives better then any truck and most cars I have driven. Lots of room and I am ready to go skiing! Nice Job Dodge!! Great vehicle all around! Can't say enough good things about it."

"Dodge has really done it this time. They have produced a beautiful looking truck with the most powerful engine in a light pickup. The Ram Box storage system was a great idea, and the coil springs in the rear should give it supreme handling. Don't know why its max towing is only 9100 pounds, but most light duty truck drivers wont use their trucks to tow over 5 tons of cargo, i know i won't, and where dodge comes in; speed. id rather my truck pull onto a major highway and quickly get up to speed."
