"I've had this truck for 5 months now and haven't regretted one bit about buying one. I have driven FORD trucks for almost 30 years now, outside of a lapse in judgement 2 years ago with the purchase of a RAM 1500. Doesn't matter whether I'm pulling my 20" flatbed trailer with mowers or my 6500 lb pulling tractor, this truck has it. My previous FORD's had the 4.6 and 3.55 axle ratio, but this one has the 5.4 and 3.55 ratio. It does everything I need a truck to do and more. The supercrew cab is great with plenty of room to haul 6 adults with plenty of room. I expect to keep this truck a long time."

"I OWN A F-150 EXT CAB THAT I BOUGHT IN APRIL WHEN THE WEATHER WAS WARM, IN LATE NOV I NOTICED MY LEFT FOOT WOULD START GETTING VERY COLD IN COLD WEATHER EVEN THOUGH THE FLOOR HEAT WAS ON. I THOUGHT THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE HEAT IN MY TRUCK SO I ASKED THE DEALER AND HE TOLD ME THAT IS JUST HOW THE TRUCK HEATS AT THE FLOOR. ALL THE HEAT ON THE FLOOR BLOWS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AND JUST TRICKLERS OUT ON THE DRIVERS SIDE THIS DOESN'T MAKE MUCH SENSE TO ME. I WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TOLD ME I WAS GOING TO NEED WARM BOOTS EVERY TIME I DROVE MY TRUCK IN THE WINTER."

"We drive a Lexus 460 and a Corvette C6. Have not had a Ford for over 40 years. Boy am I impressed. Fit,finsh,features, and drive in my 09 Plantinum are outstanding. Was comparing this truck with Toyota Tundra and there is just no comparison. With all the end of the rebates we got a great deal and truck."

"Fit and fish very nice. Had some initial issues with the tranny, but since the software upgrade all is well. Love the truck. the only other complaint I have is the stock sound system. Interior is very comfortable."

"Recent hunting trip used the new FORD F-150, simply the BEST TRUCK ever. Had lots of rain, used off roads (seasonal roads), the weather was not the best for hunting, however we were in style and comfort. Plenty of room, power, great sound system, this made the bad weather go away. And I need to mention how the gas gauge never seem to move. What a great truck."

"I have not purchased a new vehicle for my wife in 12 years so I looked at all the new trucks. The ford F-150 was far and away the very best in all areas.I was amazed at how quiet the interior is, and the power of the engine 5.4l, crushed the competition. Love the 6 speed auto 20+ MPG on the highway.Its hard to believe its a truck with the very nice ride characteristics and crisp handling.I love my wifes truck."

"I've had many luxury vehicles over the past few years, never been much of a truck enthusiast, until now. I saw how outstanding it looked at this year's Auto Show, went and tested it, and couldn't resist. I purchased the Platinum edition, it is as luxurius as any luxury car I have owned, really, it is! The Sony sound system is great, the Sync system works better than any nav system I've had, for a truck the ride is superior, and it seems quieter on the freeway than any car I have owned. Power running boards, rain-sense wipers, and power tilt wheel are all great features only available on the Platinum. The leather is soft, and heated and cooled seats work great. The interior is first class in apearance as well, chocolate brown with black accents, and lots of brushed aluminum on the dash. I understand this took the place of Lincoln's Mark LT, and Ford deserves kudos for making an outstanding vehicle!"

"I have never written a product review before. I am so pleased with my new F150 that I wanted to write one.
I have driven a Lexus LX470 for the past few years, and although I really liked it, I don't miss it. I am sure that anyone reading this might think I am out of my mind even comparing the 2 vehicles, but I encourage any doubters to go test drive a 5.4L F150(Lariat or Platinum Series). I thoroughly love the way it handles.
Futhermore, the interior is very comfortable, and designed with a great look and with premium materials.
The added combination of Microsoft's Sync system, Sony's sound system makes my new truck a real winner.
Before I purchased it, I test drove all comparable vehicles. The Ford F150 really stood out above all the others. I encourage anyone interested in a truck to atleast test drive one. I am confident you'll be impressed."

"I just purchased a new 2009 F150 STX S/C, I wasn't sure about purchasing a Ford product at first, and did plenty of research before I made my choice between Dodge, GM, and Toyota. This truck hands down was the best value, the best drive, had the best new features, and just all around a great looking truck. The cheapest on top of that and I'm getting 21 mpg on the highway! Very quiet ride and it goes over bumps and pot-holes like the road is as smooth as can be. I have never been more excited about a vehicle in a very long time but Ford has mastered and bested this truck segment. Trust me I drove everything out there. Not a lot of buying incentives out right now but a great lease program, only a 1% interest rate for 36 months! Power everything, cluster on the odometer tells you your mpg, when to change the oil, etc. Aux imput jack for i-pod, mpg player. Tons of storage, cab is big enough for 5 people even with the smaller Super Cab. Thank you Ford!"
