"I bought my '09 Corolla brand new in September '09 and I now have about 8,200 miles on it. This car is really cute and the styling is aggressive, implies it is a tiger and the car is sporty. In reality, my '09 Corolla is really just a kitten. I have the S model and it is a really nice car for the money."

"Purchased 6 months ago. After 3 months, the air vent started emitting foul smell whenever not on air conditioner.
Brought in to dealership for service. Filter get replaced but foul smell continue, this time when using air conditioning.
Brought in once again shortly after and this time they fume the whole car. Great- the foul smell is gone but it's been one week now and the car constantly smell like toxic gas chamber when air vent is on (no matter air conditioner or heating).."

"I am leasing this car and love it! I am going to buy it before the lease is up. I have the 09 LE model and I drive at least 30 miles one way to work. I love the gas mileage and the dependability. I don't need a car that is going to go 0-60 in 5 seconds. I find the interior very comfortable and just a great all around car."

"The car was new 2006 corolla CE 5 speed I have 124000 miles now 38.5 hwy a/c on at 80 mph handles well put on larger tires 195-65-15. can take 40mph corner at 60mph I drive 1000 miles a week i change oil every 5 weeks other then the tires and rims that is all i had to replace i plan to drive until 300.000 miles with no problems thats RELIABLE"

"mother purchased Base model im only 15 and ride in it at lease 2 or 3 times a day.
the front seats are very uncomfortable. the radio never has reception (probably because our city is pretty much a bowl). in the winter with more than two inches of snow on the ground the car will not move! the tiers will only spin.
on top of that the engine is Powerless. takes forever to get up to speed on the highway. my mom pushes the RPM's up to 4 and 5 and the car still does not move.
when running the A/C when we turn it off we smell strong smell of Gasoline.
nothing on the car. Crank Windows and No cruise control, no moon roof (not too worried about that).
it will veer if you do not have Full attention on the road."

"Purchased my first brand new car, the 09 Toyota Corolla Sport at the end of April 2009. I was rear ended and shoved into another car in July 2009. The Corolla was totalled due to the extensive damage of being pushed into another car. I received $2,000 more than what I actually paid for this car. This car holds it's value and you don't loose 30% of the value when you drive it off the lot.
Waiting for my loan to show as paid in full and then back to the dealership for a 2010 Corolla!
Would recommend to anyone!"

"I was in a 40 MPH side collision accident today and this vehicle saved my life. It rolled over onto the top of the vehicle and because I had my safety belt on I came out of the accident unscratched,just a little rattled. I would recommend this vehicle to anybody who likes being safe."

"If you looking for a sports car, then the Corolla is not for you, but if you want a car that's dependable, reliable, great gas milage, decent ride, value for your money, easy on insurance and police radar, then the Corolla is your car, I bought the "S" trim to get the leather steering wheel with audio control/fog lights/sports seats, I didn't buy the "S" to drive "fast and furious" so I didn't mind the numb steering and the family sedan like handling. You owe it to yourself to check out the Corolla before buying the Civic or the Mazda3."

"I have had no problems with the steering. Gets great gas mileage. I did have a problem with the keyless entry not working but the dealer replaced a part. Side mirror button is hard to reach."

"Earned 1000 miles on my 2009 Corolla S in just a month after I got it from the dealer with 0 miles. I've read that the S does have a bit stiffer chasis than the other models except for the XRS. It is fun to ride and drive and my royal blue beauty fits the S ptofile - front, side, rear skirts, spoiler and fog lamps. Quiet cabin. Good cornering and highway comfort. Superb snow/icy traction and feels solid. Roomy interior. Premium JBL sound with XM satellite and blue tooth came standard with the S model."

"I sold my BMW and bought the Toyota for economic reasons. The ride is good, quiet and very comfortable. Gas Mileage is awesome. Going from a BMW to the Toyota was an easier transition that I would have expected. I agree with one of the other review, the electronic steering is poorly designed. On the highway, the car weaves all over the road and you are constantly ever so slightly correcting. Took it into the shop and they said that that is the way the car is. Given that, I still would recommend the car."

"Have owned the car almost two months with very little complaints. I purchased the LE model which has just enough of the convenience features that I was looking for (power locks, windows and mirrors. Excellent gas mileage and a very comportable ride with outstanding power and acceleration. Only quirks to this vehicle is the clock not being part of the radio and the automatic headlights--unable to turn lights off when it is dark."

"My bride and I have owmed several Toyota's. We have owed a Rav 4, Avalon and several Camarys. This is the first compact car. The design is very impressive. From the first drive we were sold. The fuel economy is awesome. We have appreciated 40 on the open road and 30 plus around the neighbor hood.
