"I have only 500 miles on my Cruze LT during the four weeks I've owned it, but it seems like a great car. The option packages I got were related to my having a fused neck - back-up camera, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot alert. They have already come in handy in warning me when I back out of parking spots and change lanes. The right-side blind-spot warning has had a couple of "false positives" so far, so I will need to see if an adjustment is necessary. The trip computer said I was getting 35.5 mpg, but when I filled up for the first and only time, it was 33.8 mpg. Either way, much better than EPA's 30 mpg for mixed driving. I think it's quiet, has good power, and is well designed. I haven't tried the OnStar yet."

"I may not be able to drive yet, and though my mother does not like the car itself (she's a SUV fanatic), I love this car. Its only a rental for a couple of days, but I love every bit of it. One thing that I don't like about it are the seats. I drove around in a 2012 cruze and I can definitely tell the difference in comfort. I love the radio, though it can be a little confusing at times and Xm radio interrupts when crossing under bridges and in some tree covered areas. I love how its small, but there is a good amount of cabin space. This is definitely a car I would want to recieve as a graduation present, and I'm hoping that I am able to."

"Having driven an early 90's Jeep for about 10 years prior, the Cruze was a big change for me, but a welcome one. I have had my Cruze for about 2 months / 2,000 miles, and there's no "buyer's remorse" anywhere in sight :)
Even with the base 6-speed automatic model, I love the handling, the controls, and the substantial feel. Both the exterior and interior styling are appealing, and the space is adequate, even for a big & tall guy like me. The gas mileage is also competitive; with a healthy mix of highway and city driving I'm averaging 30mpg.
On a side note, I find it funny that many professional reviewers consider the Cruze's looks to be "forgettable" or "nothing special". One of the many reasons I selected the Cruze was because of its bold, angular front-end styling which sets it apart visually from so many of the other competitors in the segment."

"2300 miles on my 2013 Cruze Eco Manual so far. Great car. Most of my driving is in town. I fill up every 100 miles at the same gas pump. Best fill-up was last week with 44 MPG (temps in the 60s and 70s). Worst was 34 in February with temps in the teens and 20s. Again, this is around town! The car MPG computer has been very accurate. Average overall has been 39. On a recent road trip of 140 miles going 65 mph, it got 45 MPG on a cold and windy day! Oh yeah -- I had to take it back to the dealer last month when the cruise control stopped working... computer glitch. Quick fix and covered under warranty. No big deal. My only gripe - the base Eco has no cup holders in the rear seat! The bucket seats are very comfortable. The back seats are a little stiff, though. Nice trunk space. The cars handles well and is very quiet."

"I love the cruze styling both interior and exterior. Comfortable ride and even with the 1.8 seems to have plenty of power especially compared to other older cars. seems to have high build quality with the soft touch interior materials and the tightness of everything. headlights are good as well as the handling. plus the 10 airbags are sure to keep you safe in a accident. telescoping steering wheel is awesome. im 6 foot 2 and have no issues fitting. seats in back are a little tight but that's it. so far i love my cruze its everything i wanted in a new car"

"I love this car. I have gotten so many compliments on it from total strangers. I got the base model and it has so many new and great features. Bluetooth is standard and it also has a USB port and an auxiliary input. Pretty snazzy. It has plenty of power. The new Cruze also comes with 6 months of OnStar and XM radio. I had OnStar on my last GM car and loved it. I know I will keep it after the initial trial period. Not sure about the XM radio (which is pretty cool), but I mostly listen to audio books which come right thru the speakers with the aux input."

"Bought less than a week ago and I wasn't too sure I was going to like this smaller vehicle downsizing from my toyota sienna van. But family needed me to be in a commuter car so we got the cruze. I thought it would be a typical small sedan, low on power, better on MPG's but dull to drive. Boy, was I wrong, this thing is very comfortable on the inside and I'm a big guy. Plus it's drives and handles like a little sports car. Can take the Indy Hwy splits at 70+ and it sticks to the road. Love this car!"

"We were drawn to the Cruze initially because so much of it is built and assembled in our state of Ohio. The Fords,Chryslers and others Mexico and overseas. We only have 2500 miles or so, but recently drove 6 1/2 hours each way to see a friend with three adult in the car. Everyone was quite comfortable, even a full grown man in the back seat. I drove the entire trip, and after a few miles getting used to the smaller car and quick handling, (I drive a Z71 4x4 p/u), it drove and handled very easily and again, was quite comfortable."

"I recently was rear ended while driving a new Camry Hybrid. The insurance company set me up with a Chevrolet Cruz while my car was in the shop. This is a cheaply made car that feels cheaply made, underpowered with one of the most unrefined transmissions I've experienced in years. It was unresponsive and couldn't decide on a gear. The engine sounded buzzy and struggled when pushed. Plenty of road and engine noise. The door handles were not finished well and stuck while opening. The styling is underwhelming both inside and out. The trunk is large for a car in this class. I really don't know who is buying a car like this. My guess is mostly rental fleets, seniors or those who want a new car but can't afford anything that is better built. It really feels slapped together. I didn't think that they made care like this anymore. At least I hoped that they didn't."

"I recently purchased a 2013 Autumn metallic Chev Cruze with Leather Black/Brick Interior, Sun Roof, lighted Door Sills, Pioner Upgrade Radio, Navigiation System, Remote Start, Enhanced Safety package- I splurged a little on the price $ 28,800 but feel I got good value for my $'s - I am very happy with how it performs in snow (Minnesota) and the mileqage and comfortable interior and drive- Has a lot more "spunk" than I expected.. "I got rid of the car I thought could not be beat in mpg. I was wrong I had a VW new beetle 06 with a TDi 1.9 turbo Diesel with a dsg tiphtronic 6 speed a/m. It was the best mpg. car you could get but I was wrong best mpg on the VW was 30 city and 38 hwy. My new Cruze Eco. averages 42 hwy real mpg if you read the road you could average I believe 45 hwy (depending on the road elevations) learning to drive the car makes all the difference; keep in mind that 4th 5th & 6 th. gear are all over drive. What I have been trying to do is reach the posted speed and then go to an O.D. gear I choose one that works with the speed and elevations. You want low r.p.m. but at the same time staying around Peak Torque about 1650 r.p.m. I have obtained 37.5 average comb. driving. keep in mind that city driving is the hardest mpg to determine because sitting @ traffic lights kills economy along with stop and go. I know if I really try to commit to max mpg. this car will be single #'s away from the most expensive hybrids mpg's. But every once in a while I need to teach someone with a civic or corolla to respect the turbo spool @ 6000 rpm's... C' YA AM OUT.
Summary, I am very happy to own the the Cruze Eco 6 speed manual with the closing lower louvers in the front @ higher speed for aero di. and the 0.61 to one over over yes that's a little over 1/2 engine turn speed to one full wheel spin.. Remember it needs to say Eco. To get plus 42 mpg's 1.4 TURBO INTER-COOLED, DIRECT INJECTION, DOUBLE OVER HEAD CAMS, 4 VALVES PER CYL. , CONTINUOUS VARIABLE VALVE TIMING PURE MPG'S ON MECHANICAL TECH. GO G.M. GETTING A K&N FILTER SOON. MINE IS BLACK GRANITE IN COLOR."
