"I did purchase a Malibu Eco after doing some research here on Cars.com. The car is great on gas mileage which is important to me since work is about 45 minutes one way. It's super comfortable, and has a nice body style. I would have liked more truck space, but it is still a nice car. The dealership had me in and out the same day with the car.
The only issue I've had so far isn't with the car, it's with insurance companies. For some reason they have this car in a higher price range than my previous vehicle, and it was difficult to find affordable insurance."

"I will be graduating college in about a month and I needed a new car. I bought the 2013 Chevy Malibu LT in the Black Granite Metallic. The color is way better than a flat blat! I love the car's features and interior. I think it is comfortable to ride in. The power convenience package was a necessary addition to this vehicle. Sunroof, backup camera, and the 7 inch touch screen were a must. I LOVE my new car and I would recommend it to others in search of a new vehicle. If you are looking into the 2LT models, the White Diamond color is awesome. Unfortunately, it is not available on the 1LT but it looks great. My one big disappointment was that I couldn't get the White Diamond color in the 1LT. I almost forgot to mention, the gas mileage is great! I fill up my tank so much less than my old car. 34 highway mpg!!!!!"

"I bought the pretty Red one. I get great raves by my folks. The interior is awesome also. I bought the 2 LT. Good gas mileage. Drove to San Diego and registered 27 MPG. The electronic interior console is wonderful. Bluetooth is loud and clear. I have nothing but praise for the handling of this car. Exterior driving noise is low. The 2.5L engine with 4 peeps onboard has good power and pickup. I do have 2 ideas for the company. The trunk is huge. It could be 6 to 8 inches smaller so the back seat can have more leg room. Thus, the door stantion can be placed a few inches back to have more room to get in and out of the car for the driver and passenger. Other than that i love it."

"I just bought a new Malibu a few weeks ago and I could not be more impressed . I would highlight that the cars features are laid out perfect making it very easy to operate. Everything is so easy to use and access. Very intuitive info center and amazed at how complete it is. Navigation is very modern looking and has better features than any other I have seen. I owned Acuras and a BMW as my last few vehicles and this car outshines them both.
If you are looking for a vehicle that's safe, handles well, comfortable and loaded with need options this is the best thing out there. I did a lot of research before I bought and drove everything. Chevy I don't know who woke up there but great job."

"I purchased this 2013 Malibu Eco in April of 2012 to save some money on fuel, as my 2006 Infiniti G35 sedan was only getting about 18 MPG. I've put almost 13,000 miles on my Malibu and it has been great. Very comfortable on trips back and forth to Florida, and the gas mileage is incredible. I've averaged a little over 28 MPG for the 13,000 miles, and most of my driving is in stop and go traffic going to and from work. The standard stereo system w/ myLink is excellent, and I love being able to play Pandora instead of paying for XM radio. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a comfortable and fuel efficient ride."

"I love the styling of my car, especially the Camaro cues. The touch screen stereo is easy to use and sounds great. iPhone integration is flawless. I wish the engine had a little more power but in all honesty it is more then adequate. My little one in his car seat fits behind the driver seat, both of us have plenty of room. The cabin is quiet while driving and the car rides smoothly. It negotiates bumps and uneven roads very well. The driving position is very comfortable, the seat are very comfortable (they adjust every way you can imagine) and all the controls are within easy reach. The gas mileage is slightly better then what Chevy claims. Overall I am very happy with the car."

"This car is amazing just got the 2013 Malibu Eco and got 47.7mpg so far couldn't be happier with it went from a toyota 4runner to this so i was worried about space im 6'4" and can't reach the petals if i put the seat all the way back. The Chevrolet mylink is a great feature hook your cell up to it wireless and get a ton of stuff pandora stitcher make calls. Best part is i didn't have to get the top shelf LTZ to get all the cool stuff like nice wheels and big screen in the dash leather trim seats oh and the ride is smooth as can be."

"I wanted to trade my 2006 Buick Lucerne CXL V8 for the new 2013 Buick Regal. A friend of mine who is a Chevy dealer recommended that I look at the new 2013 Malibu 1LT. I thought "Malibu? Coming down from my Lucerne?" I did not expect to come home with a new car....but I did! I was in total shock with this car. I get compliments on it all the time! The black granite metallic paint shimmers in the sunlight. The MyLink stereo system is amazing, and the interior lights at night makes you feel like you're driving a spaceship! And from going from a V8 to an inline-4, I was extremely impressed. The transmission shifts aggressively and sporty when merging onto the highway, but is smooth a nimble when driving around town. When you need to get up and go, the 2.5L will get the job done! I average around 28 mpg with mixed highway and city driving, which is better than the 18mpg mixed driving that I was getting with the Lucerne, and both cars have the same size gas tank. So less trips to the gas station! On the highway, I can get upwards of 40mpg and I don't even own the ECO! It is very responsive and is just as smooth and quiet as my Lucerne was, if not better! And VERY comfortable as well. Sure the back seat is a bit tight, but the only two people that normally ride in this car are my girlfriend and myself. I highly recommend this car to someone who is looking for a reliable, comfortable, and sharp looking car! I have owned it for 5 months now and I am VERY happy!"

"I've been a SUV / Truck driver for 15 years. This go round I decided to entertain a sedan. After driving this 4 cylinder vehicle I was impressed on the acceleration on to the freeway! Very surprised! The interior chrome with the illumination of the blue lights adds to the style of this impressive sedan. I like the blue tooth tech. The driving performance is good. Considering this my first. Chevy and first sedan I give this experience and overall 4 star. The only negative I've experienced so far is the front bottoms out easy on my driveway and speed bumps so be careful. I would reccomend this vehicle. Oh did I mention the gas savings I'm experiencing. With the influx of gas prices this was a must option I needed and got. Wow! I've never driven a week and a half, nearly 2 weeks before needing to fill up... I like that !"

"Ya know...I really really love this car. I have no idea how it gets bad reviews.. I read one website saying it was the 17 best midsize sedan out of 19. What a crock. I bought the 2lz model and it rides wonderfully, looks sporty, has all the cool gadgets. My neighbor, whom I've maybe talked to a couple times, rolled down his window as I was getting out of my Malibu and was like dang dude, that car looks sweet! What is it?" When I told him it was a Malibu he seemed shocked. I dunno, Chevy gets a bad rap and I still don't get it... Maybe this vehicle is a little mor expensive than competitors, but I for one am willing to ignore that because I'd rather support the American auto industry. If you're on the fence with what you should purchase, and you've read some of the "published" reviews on this vehicle that maybe makes you think twice about getting a Malibu, buy it! Those reviewers are dumb. They basically all say that the Malibu has a great ride and that the interior is comfortable and that it has a sleek looking exterior but they give it a bad score because of the handling, or the power, or blah blah...I tell ya what, being comfortable in my car...and having a car with a really nice ride is really really important... Having a car that tunes out outside noise is important... I'm not trying to be a rally sport driver in my car...I'm trying to go to and from work."

"I have been a loyal Cadillac owner for years and I decided it was time to get a more practical car. I purchased the LT w/1LT package in October 2012. This car is amazing for a mid-size car. It rides better than any Cadillac I have ever owned and has enough performance for the average driver. The interior is unbelievably quiet! "Bought the diamond white tri-coat in the ltz trim with cream and coco leather. Like it better than my 2001 Cadillac Deville, best car I've had yet. Quiet with plenty of power. The interior is superb and has a real quality feel all around. I want to buy American but I won't waste my money on substandard cars of the past. This car is classy without being proud. Got it for 2k under sticker by working 3 dealers against each other. You can feel good about buying a Malibu."

"I was immediately attracted to this car for the Camaro-like styling cues. It has an awsome-looking stance and great lines. I like the Camaro treatment inside as well. The car is quiet as a tomb! "Purchased this car less than 5 months ago three weeks after the purchased the lithium ion battery needed to be replaced , car was completely dead , since it is a special order it took 2 weeks. The radio also sounded awful. Vehicle having less than 6400 miles had transmission problems so far it has been at the dealer a week and again parts have to be special order it will probably be another two weeks . For those consumers that want a car that actually starts up and does leave you stranded steer clear from this car. Not worth the money or aggravation. This car only looks good on the exterior ."
